For Roman, along with being a dad and husband, Athlete Ready is life. He joined the team in full force as Co-Owner in 2019 and has continued the strong tradition of leadership, knowledge, experience and care established before him.
Finding passion young in his coaching career as a soccer technical skills coach, Roman has coached thousands of hours with athletes at the middle school, high school, and premier level since he started coaching in 2009. He has also lent his developmental expertise to multiple local youth academies, where he has consulted on sports readiness and movement based injury prevention programs.
Having since centered focus toward Strength and Conditioning, he has made a career of making the best perform better through his engaging. active, and detailed coaching style. Most recently prior to AR, Roman was apart of founding the first full Strength and Conditioning program in the state of New Mexico. He had the honor of serving as one of the duo of inaugural Head Strength and Conditioning Coaches for St. Pius High School Athletics consulting for multiple State Championship programs during his tenure.
Injuries happen in sport and life and Romans experience and ability to collaborate with sport medicine teams has allowed him to become a trusted resource for many local clinical referrals for rehab and Return to Activity/Sport programs. Roman sums up his coaching philosophy with an aim to train hard, train smart and prepare people to do amazing things in sports and in life.
